MK is the way MKers refer to Milton Keynes.
The Good, The Bad and the Fantastic.
MK is a fantastic town. No it is not a city yet.
We have about 260,000 people and the growth is exceptional. Whole estates are sprouting up all around us. We have one of the most sought after shopping malls in Britain.
That is not the point though.
The Surprising Milton Keynes.
This is a young city and most buildings have been constructed since 1980.
Deep in the heart of MK are several old villages, still there.
Almost anywhere in MK you are 10 minutes walk away from green fields, playgrounds, lakes and woods.
Generally the traffic flows around the estates and there are very few rat-runs through residential areas.
We have employment growth better than most places in the UK in Logistics.
